Starting point
At Boehringer Ingelheim interest in AI was high, but actual use varied widely across people and departments. The challenge: move from curiosity to habit, using corporate tools and following their rules.
What we did
We designed an adoption plan and, from it, training programmes for different departments on their corporate AI assistant and their own tasks. Each session starts from a real team case and ends with their own uses and a way to measure them.
The change
Before and now.
Before
- High interest, but very uneven use across people and teams
- Everyone experimented on their own, with no shared guidelines
- Doubts about what could be done with the approved tools
Now
- More than 60 professionals with concrete uses in their week
- Use cases specific to each department
- A way to measure adoption, team by team
Step by step.
- Person
Listening to the teams
We talk to each team to understand their real tasks: documents, analysis, communication and reporting.
- Method
Usage assessment
We measure how each person used AI and place each team at its starting point.
- Training
Hands-on training
Sessions with their corporate assistant and their own documents, never generic examples.
- Deliverable
Their own use cases
Each session ends with concrete uses that people apply from the following week.
- Method
Measurement
We track usage after each programme and design the next one based on what we learned.
And up and running.
